BURGH CASTLE |
The area of consists of Burgh Castle, Belton,
Fritton and St Olaves. At Burgh castle stands the remains of the Roman Fortress
of Garianonum, with lovely views across the Norfolk Broads Breydon Water.
Fritton and St Olaves are approx. 5 miles to the South West of Great Yarmouth
town. The area has many holiday parks, a yacht marina, riverside pubs,
restaurants, a golf course, a country park and a horse sanctuary,

CAISTER-ON-SEA

Caister is situated a few miles North of Great
Yarmouth, on the Norfolk coast, with wide sandy beaches.
Caister has its own 14C castle, which is now home to one of the counties best
car collections. The village has several popular holiday and caravan parks,
cottages, eating out, pubs, restaurants and take-aways.

CALIFORNIA & SCRATBY

California, named after the American California
when there was also a gold rush here in Norfolk, gold coins were found on the
beach. Situated approx.4 miles North of Great Yarmouth on the coast with a super
sandy beach. A choice of self catering holidays accommodation for all tastes,
pubs, and take-aways.
Scratby is situated next to California, upon the
cliffs overlooking a lovely sandy beach. Their is a choice of accommodation on
the large and smaller holiday parks. Restaurants, pubs and take-aways, garden
centre and antique clocks.

FILBY

The village of Filby is situated on the A 1064
between Acle and Great Yarmouth. Filby is a well catered for village, having
plenty of facilities and local attractions. Post office, pubs, restaurant, shop
and playing field. There are several local walks, maps of which are available
from the post office. The residents of the village work very hard throughout
year keeping the village in top condition for the village in bloom competition.
During the summer months the village is a blaze of colour with hanging baskets
on just about every post. Their efforts have been rewarded with

GREAT YARMOUTH TOWN |
Great Yarmouth, one of the top seaside resorts in
the UK, is famous for its bright lights and wide sandy beaches lined by the

GORLESTON-ON-SEA |
Gorleston-on-sea, situated across the harbour

Situated approx 6 miles North of Great Yarmouth
on the coast, behind the sand dunes next to the North sea. A large selection of
self catering holiday accommodation make Hemsby Norfolk`s second largest resort
after Great Yarmouth. With a choice of cabaret venues, nightly dancing and top
class entertainment, plenty of amusements and bingo, restaurants and take-aways.
Yet Hemsby still manages to retain its village atmosphere, with it`s medieval
church and thatched cottages in the older part of the village.

HOPTON |
A small coastal village just south of Gorleston-on-sea,
with some six village pubs and a variety of holiday accommodation. Close to
Pleasurewood Hills American theme park.

NORFOLK BROADS |
The world famous Broads National Park are
situated just inland from Great Yarmouth. The Broads are best explored by boat,
which can be hired by the day from the many local boatyards. Enjoy the
meandering rivers, fish the calm lakes, see the exciting wildlife. The Broads
were formed by the flooding of ancient peat diggings. There are many types of
riverside accommodation for hire and riverside pubs, shops and restaurants.
Enjoy a riverside stroll, feed the ducks, or sit enjoy a drink and and watch the
boats go by. Fishing is a favorite pastime on the Norfolk Broads.

WINTERTON-ON-SEA |
Winner of the EDP best kept Norfolk village award
2003. Winterton-on-sea is the northern most village in
Great Yarmouth, for those who like a quite holiday away from the from it all.
The wide white sandy beaches are backed by sand dunes and a nature reserve. The
village pub situated in the centre of the village is some 300 years old. There
is a choice of chalets and cottage accommodation in the village.
